A decent ISU QB would have made this game a little more interesting.  

 

Iowa is pretty good across the board.  ISU has not really tested the running defense, and the passes have been so bad that they really haven’t tested the pass defense.

 

Nice interception by Neiman.

Cyclones not very good. 

 

Am surprised that Hawks are throwing so much. CJ has been very accurate - most of his incompletions have been throwaways I think. 

 

Black/gold stadium stripes are impressive on tv.

Anyone know the rule of when a penalty carries over to the kick-off. On the extra point try the Iowa State guns into the kicker.  I was expecting the penalty to be enforced on the kick-off. Instead it is declined and the point is good.

James Daniels out with a knee injury. Lucas LeGrand playing center. So far so good as they have scored 2 out of 3 times they had the ball. Iowa up 14-3 after the first quarter.
