[Herky] Non-Herky

Don, I want to add my prayers to all of the others.  My wife's mom is slipping away currently with the same cursed disease.  Dealing with it's cursed reality is a burden far too many have to struggle with.  Someone much earlier said "It's like losing someone twice since the one you love slips away and you're left with fragments of a love past to lose someone again."  I believe as many others that she's in a much better place and sooner or later we'll all be there cheering on the Hawkeyes. Go Hawks!. Stev

Don, my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Like so many others,
our family has also been touched by Alzheimer's. You aren't alone.

I hope everyone on Herky, regular posters and lurkers, will feel
comfortable passing along both good and sad news about themselves and
their loved ones. After all, this is still George Miller's "Herky Pub",
where Hawkeye sports are important, but never so important as the ones we
love.
