[Herky] Iowa unleashes 'Hellerball' on Maryland, rolls into Big Ten title game

Hawks put up a great fight against tOSU yesterday, but fell just a dad short by one run in the ninth.  An inch here or there, a different decision here or there, and the outcome might have been different.  

 

I was proud of the effort this week.  It’s a shame it took so long for this team to get it together.  They appeared to be much better than their record shows. 

 

On to next year, on to Cubs watching and on to the FB season!!!

That game was a pleasure to watch…was so proud of the Hawkeye effort in the 9th inning the night before and this effort the nest day. Go Hawks!
