Well, I guess Woody's hands won't grow before the NCAA's, so what's the
issue discussing it now?  If he has a physical limitation, he has it.  He
can't help it.  Shall we de-recruit him?

His hussle is an inspiration to everyone on the team.  

 

We held Illinoiz to 68 points.  That ain' so bad.  The poor shooting,
especially in the first half, killed us.  If some of our key guys other than
the big 2 can hit some easy shots, we win and will win.

Look at the close to the basket shots missed at the rim by our big guy every
game.

Losing the ball from his hands as they are not big for a big guy.

 

The other big guy can shoot from the three but not from under or 2-feet from
the basket (Uhl)

Lack of upper body strength.

How much I would have loved to have James Winters, Greg Brunner or even
Jakob Jaacks on this team?

 

Clemmons running into traffic and shooting poorly or turning it over.

Poor to stupid passes.

 

We will not make a clutch play at the end as the ball is always in Gesell's
hands and he wastes time, gets caught in traffic or turns it over.
Basically he always flops in the last few seconds.

 

The next few years will be even worse and we will be back to mediocrity or
less with all the underclassmen on the team.

 

Disappointed to lose to a team playing a game within 24 hours

 

Maybe, the extra few days to simmer will get the team back on track for the
tournament.

Once, just once I would like to see Iowa make THE clutch play at the end.
We couldn't complete a play, then we couldn't even get the da** ball in
bounds. 

 

I'm disappointed, 99% in the coaching-the year's body of work.
