Both Cook and Wagner have said they are taking the opportunity in PTL to work on their 3 point shooting at the request of the coaches. At their sit down meeting after the season, Fran McCaffery told Ahmad Wagner that he needed to expand his role from the primarily defense and rebounding he had done this past season and to work on his shooting. Fran seems to want tall versatile athletic players at every position who can score inside and out.

In looking at the box scores since the PTL opening, it appears that Ahmad Wagner has been shooting a fair number of threes. Has he developed an outside shot? It seems about every shot he took last year was from 5 feet in. Or are all the big guys inclined to shoot threes in the PTL, because of the wide open game and no emphasis on defense?

One note on the score sheets is that Peter Jok has withdrawn from the league due to injury and has been replaced by Ryan Kreiner.
