Be careful not to overanalyze.  Uthoff missed at least three threes where he was wide open.  Drop two of those and we have a very different story.  Don’t forget, Iowa had a 6-point lead in the last quarter of the game. 

 

Some of these comments would make an uniformed reader think we were crushed by 30 points.  

 

Because of these losses, caused mainly IMHO by key missed shots, we are out of contention for a #1 seed, out of the top ten (and hopefully not out of the top 20), and a long shot for the B1G title.

 

Is fatigue causing poor shooting?  Who knows.  Maybe it’s the Sports Illustrated curse.

Only got home in time to watch the 2nd half but Hawks looked 1/2 step slow compared to Wisky.  Lots of dribbling and not much swing passing on offense and their zone was very ineffective and left way too many open 3 looks which the Badgers knocked down.  

 

Hard to tell if something's wrong with Utoff.  He seems hesitant with his shot and reluctant to use many of his post moves that we saw earlier in the season.  Scoring or not Fran has to give more minutes to the bench - the starters seem to be burning out.  

 

Hope this is a replay of the season's end a couple of years ago.

Either the Hawks played way over their abilities in the first 2/3 of the season, OR, Hawks now playing at the talent level of the current players.
