The B1G is a really tough grind. To lose on the road to a quality team is not cause for blubbering and sobbing.

Better free throw shooting and better defensive rebounding would have sent the game in another direction. That’s life. Indiana lost at Penn State. ***t happens. Let’s go on.

We have a real good shot at winning out, but if another loss comes our way, it won’t be a surprise.

Agree about not going inside. There was way too much dribbling by Gesell and Clemmons.

Very disappointing game to watch as a fan.
The guys put in so much effort in enemy territory and to lead after being 16 points down and then to lose it again.

It looked like IN was playing to win while we were playing not to lose.
The ball bounced IN way many times and they hit shots at the end of shot clock several times.

But, if you look at the stats there is nothing much separating the two teams.
What really killed us was poor finishing at the rim and the free throws.
In addition to that our bench looks awful today on the stats sheet.

AW played his heart out once again but he left several shots at the rim.
I still do not get it as to why a 7 footer cannot leave his feet and slam the ball down.
I always cringe when he floats the ball above the rim and always fear it will come to haunt us in close games.
Guess what, it finally did.

Iowa never took advantage of IN center's foul trouble and the mismatch and that had left AW visibly frustrated many times.
That fault lies with the coaching staff in my opinion for players not being aware of that.

The only thing left now is to beat IN by 15+ points at home to get this bad taste out of my mouth.

Maybe we need Uthoff to be a bit more expressive to get his teammates going a bit.
