This was a really entertaining game.  Great competition and some great playing.  Iowa’s defense just took it to ISU in the second half.

 

I think everyone is pleased with the decision to make CJ the starter last winter.

 

I think both teams are way better than last year.  

 

Give the coaches some credit.  We are seeing a more open offense with a variety of “non traditional” plays.

The 2nd half was much better teamwise than the 1st.  Hawks lost some key contributors but sucked it up and pretty much took the fight to the Cyclones.  

Some great passes and receptions led to the win but the defense also made some great plays down the stretch.   

Lots of big momentum plays on both sides but the Hawks prevailed.

 

Am I a believer yet??  I feel a lot better than if they had lost in Ames but play is too inconsistent to get on the bandwagon yet.  However!!  Trending up!!!

I read a report that Daniels had an ankle injury.  Anyone know anything about that?  

Report on Ott is some kind of wrist injury.
