[Herky] Game

Ferentz just said Beathard won’t be 100 percent until the bowl game.   It will take away his running game, which is probably best anyway.  What’s worse, is that he won’t be mobile enough to escape hard rushes, and that may increase the chances of further injury.

Nevertheless, I think Iowa is better than just a good team.   The defense will be the key down the stretch and they will be up to the task.

Iowa gets the win but it was not a good game.  What we saw today was not a top 10 team. But they are a good team. Even with the flat performance they still win by 16. In the past that would be a 2 point game either way.  I am concerned about Beathard's health. He did not look good and that is after 2 weeks of rest.  He looks to be really limited in his movement. They said he was 50% for the NW game. Probably about 60% for this game.
