Here is one "semi-scientific" analysis that says Iowa has a .193 (19.3%) chance of going undefeated during the regular season. Also, Nate Silver of 538 gives Iowa a 8.4% chance of making the playoff and a 1% chance of winning the national championship. 

Only 3 teams have clearer path to 12-0 than Hawkeyes
