That describes Tyler Cook, the 4 star recruit for 2016, who many think will be the man in the middle. Cordell Pemsl, another 2016 recruit, was measured at 6'10" 245 lbs during his physical entering his senior year at Dubuque. Hopely he gets healthy. A third 2016 recruit, Ryan Kriener, comes in at 6'9" and 240 lbs. So Iowa will have banger options next year. 

During media days interviews, Ahmad Wagner commented that the 4 and 5 positions are essentially interchangeable in Iowa's system and he expected to be playing both, though he is undersized at 6'7" 215 lbs.

A Reggie Evans type would fit the bill. About 6’8”, about 240 pounds, rugged, with a big behind.

Exactly, and getting a good/coordinated big guy for more than a year or two is double tough. They usually take time to develop and if not they go to the pros early. Can you imagine the competition in recruiting a promising seven footer? I do think, however, that you need a banger or two, someone who can block out, mix it up and pull down rebounds. There will be times in the B!G or the NCAA tourney when the refs “let them play” and small fast guys will get massacred. Kevin Krafcisin . anyone?
